About Seaside C.Y.B.O.R.G. Seagulls
OUR HISTORY
The Seaside High School robotics team, The C.Y.B.O.R.G. Seagulls, is a competitive robotics team, competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).
Founded in 2010 by Mr. Mike Brown, Seaside C.Y.B.O.R.G. Seagulls is a small robotics team on the North Oregon Coast. Since our founding, we have inspired the creation of other teams on the coast (Astoria RiverBots) and helped well over 100 students explore STEM outside of the classroom.
Our students have gone on to work at some of the leading tech companies in the world, develop their own software, and to proudly serve their country.
Our Mission
Our goal is to inspire students and allow them the ability to explore STEM outside of the classroom. Students learn that "Nerd" is just another way of saying 6 figure salary.
